By helping families in Central Asia start and grow sustainable agricultural businesses, we create opportunities for income, dignity, and hope — transforming not just individual lives, but entire communities.
About us
We believe in a God of love who has blessed us — and from that blessing, we want to bless others.
Through the establishment of agricultural enterprises, Fruit4Life seeks to bring lasting, positive impact to communities across Central Asia.
Strategy
Followers of Jesus Christ comprise less than 1% of the population in many of the unreached people groups of Central Asia. Fruit4Life specifically seeks to be active among the unreached people groups in this region.
We support local communities by establishing and financing both large and small agricultural enterprises that provide poor families with a stable income, dignity and hope.
Our support includes:
• feasibility studies and financial management;
• advice on choose of plant materials;
• designing and installing irrigation systems;
• providing fertilization advice and supplying soil-restoring fertilizers;
• providing crop protection advice;
• providing training on sustainable food production, family life, finances, and faith.
Fruit4Life raises funds to achieve these goals through investments, loans, and donations.
Projects
Fruit4Life focuses on the following projects:
Berries4Life
Many poor families in Central Asia own a small piece of land around their homes but lack the knowledge and means to use it effectively.
Through Berries4Life, we help these families by providing simple irrigation systems, quality planting material, soil and fertilization advice, training, coaching, and financial support.
Apricot4Life
The Apricot4Life orchard, covering 10 hectares, was planted in 2022 and produced its first apricot harvest in 2025.
The orchard has been established in cooperation with a believing family. It provides employment for 5 to 10 people. We anticipate that this project will eventually serve as a model and training orchard for local fruit growers.
Vegetables4Life
A lack of healthy food is one of the main challenges in many countries.
In cooperation with Stichting Ora, Fruit4Life distributes vegetable seed packages to families in need. The yield from a single seed package is more than enough to provide a family with fresh vegetables.
Cherry4Life
Cherry4Life is a 25-hectare cherry orchard currently being developed in Central Asia.
With this project we want to transform a former sick apple orchard into a healthy cherry orchard. An orchard where we can introduce modern cultivation techniques to the local market and create employment for 20 to 30 people.
In time, Cherry4Life will become a model and training farm for local fruit growers.
Irrigation4Life
Water availability is one of the greatest challenges Central Asia will face in the coming years.
Much farmland is still irrigated using inefficient canal systems, resulting in the waste of scarce water resources.
Fruit4Life provides farmers with micro-irrigation systems that achieve up to 95% water efficiency.
Soil4Life
Yields can improve significantly when the right fertilizers are applied in the right amounts.
Currently, fertilizers are often over- or under-applied, harming soil quality, while negatively impacting yields
With Soil4Life, we aim to advise farmers using a portable soil scanner that helps determine the proper fertilization needed to increase harvests and income.
